Our Origins
“As the son of a small business owner, hard work, grit, and a passion for hand-building were traits my father instilled in me from a young age. My love for working with my hands was what initially drove me to acquire an A.A. in Cabinetmaking. After obtaining my A.A., I went on to pursue a B.S. in Marketing and began a career in the corporate world.
I soon realized how much I missed the creative, hands-on outlet that carpentry provided me, so I decided to start taking on side projects. At first, I was simply refinishing furniture and cabinetry for friends and family because it was something I enjoyed doing. I had no idea at the time that this hobby would turn into a full time business, but that is exactly what happened. As the number of completed projects grew, word quickly spread. In October of 2019 I was finally able to leave the corporate world behind and NB Woodworks was born.”
